Politico Group is a public affairs, legislative advocacy and consulting firm with offices that overlook the North step of the California State Capitol building. WLCC and Politico Group have successfully worked together to protect and improve California’s construction industry laws since the mid-1970s. With more than half a century of experience, Politico Group has advocated for the interests of electrical contractors in the Governor’s Office and before the California State Legislature, regulatory agencies and other relevant boards and commissions.  This includes monitoring legislation, direct communication with members of the Legislature and their staff, testifying before committees and drafting legislation and amendments.  Politico Group also has a longstanding relationship with the Contractor’s State License board and is equipped to assist all WLCC contractor members with any issues they may have regarding their contractor’s license.
